Transition to School

The focus of our robust “Transition to School” programme is to ensure a smooth and successful transition into the school environment for our children and families. We aim to enrich our tamariki’s knowledge, challenge their thinking and empowering their capabilities for their next educational journey. 

We also have open communication with primary schools that we feed into in order to build relationships and exchange information. 

Our programme operates with an integrated approach to the delivery of curriculum areas; Mathematics, Science, Communication, Arts, Technology, Social Sciences and Physical Health and Well-being. 

We believe this approach fosters and develops necessary dispositions and skills required for positive learning and development e.g. communication skills, information skills, problem solving skills, self-management, competitive skills, social and cooperative skills, physical skills and work and study skills.
